- The advantages of laser cutting machine:
1、cutting quality

(3) Cutting edge burr-free, no mechanical stress. Heat-affected zone is small, basically no deformation
(4) laser cutting depth to width ratio is large. For metal materials up to 20:1 or so, for non-metallic materials up to 100:1 or more.

- Comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of the three common laser cutting machine
1、fibre laser cutting machine
Advantage: Fibre laser due to the high quality of the beam and the photoelectric conversion rate is relatively high, making it has a fast cutting speed, the use of low-cost features.
Disadvantages: fibre laser cutting speed advantage in cutting thick metal plate is not obvious, this is mainly because the metal in the fibre laser emission wavelength absorption rate in the thickness of the smaller when the highest value, with the material thicker but will decline.
2、 YAG laser cutting machine
Advantage: YAG solid-state laser output wavelength is shorter, and metal coupling obey high, beneficial to be absorbed by the metal appearance, carbon steel, stainless steel contains copper, aluminium and other highly reflective non-ferrous metals on its light absorption is better, and YAG laser small size, equipment occupies a small area, energy consumption is low, low investment costs, suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises to use.
Disadvantages: YAG solid-state laser conversion efficiency is low, only 1-3%; YAG laser bar in the working process, there is an internal temperature gradient, thus causing thermal stress and thermal lens effect, limiting the YAG laser average power and beam quality to further improve; YAG laser per watt of output power cost per watt of output power is more expensive than the CO2 laser and fibre laser.
3、CO2 laser cutting machine
Advantage: Because the CO2 laser input laser wavelength of 10.6 microns, wavelength is longer, and non-metallic materials coupled with high obedience, easy to non-metallic appearance absorption, so small and medium-power CO2 laser is mainly used in non-metallic materials processing industry, high-power CO2 laser is mainly used in the processing of metal materials industry.
Disadvantages: CO2 laser light is not easy to be absorbed by copper, aluminium and other highly reflective non-ferrous metal materials, coupled with CO2 laser power, laser area is large, the one-time cost of investment is high.
